Ah I absolutely love this, it really reminds me of a distance cousin of mine. He died several years ago and we had a traditional funeral for him but afterwards everyone went to a huge barn, played loud music, danced and got incredibly drunk and relished in the good memorials. He was a crazy man and made sure that everybody he knew was aware that when he died the mushy church stuff was only for his loved ones and that the barn dance afterwards was just for him. I think this is such a great way to put your life in perspective. I wrote something similar to this when starting a new art journal. I took an old page from a novel that said epilogue, put it in the beginning of the journal and wrote 'of a story that has yet to begin' beautiful.
